Thiodininae
Introduction
New World salticids that share a general body form (and a snappy jumping style) with the amycines. Most thiodinines have two pair of peculiar bulbous setae on the underside of the first leg, a double tibial apophysis, and many have a leg-carapace stridulatory mechanism (Maddison, 1987).References
