Type Locality

Boggy area below seepage along small tributary to Turnbull Creek (Harpeth-Cumberland drainage system), 1 mile (1.6 km) west of Kingston Springs, Cheatham County, Tennessee.

Range

Portions of the Cumberland (Stones River, Harpeth River, and Yellow Creek) and Duck river basins in the Nashville Basin and Western Highland Rim of Tennessee.

Habitat

Burrows (primary burrower).
